Motel Jacaranda
Short Film

Motel Jacaranda is the directorial debut project of Italian designer Antonio Marras—a poetic short film weaving together fashion, cinema, and memory. Inspired by the secret, tormented love between Anna Maria Pierangeli and James Dean, the film unfolds within a dreamlike motel, where five intertwined stories explore longing, fragility, and the echoes of impossible love. Directed by Giulia Achenza, the film turns each room into a “chamber of the soul,” blending sound, imagery, and dialogue into a richly immersive atmosphere. The Spring/Summer 2025 collection, dedicated to Pierangeli, transcends costume to become narrative fabric—garments that express memory, desire, and vulnerability.
