For the visual concept of Joan Thiele’s album Joanita, our agency île de lumière – with creative direction by Giulia Achenza – brought the artist’s cinematic vision to life. Set against the surreal salt flats of Cagliari, Sardinia, the shoot captured a dreamlike atmosphere echoing the album’s introspective and transformative mood. We handled full production and location scouting, carefully selecting landscapes that reflect Joan’s narrative. The iconic cover, featuring Joan in a custom Del Core garment while eating an apple with a knife, conveys the album’s emotional depth and symbolic tension.
